You aren't going to believe, but I just saw Mamma Mia. Yeah, I know I'm slow. :) I didn't want to watch it. I resisted. I didn't go to the Vegas show either...
Why? That's very simple. I LOVE ABBA. I enjoy their songs, I admire their fantastic energy, and I didn't wish to see all this ruined and spoilt, as it often happens (can you name at least one REALLY good remake?).
But I have to say: today it happened. And I LOVE this movie! Meryl Streep, I'd gladly give you all the Oscars in the world. You're incredible!.. Pierce Brosnan? Bad actor (imho, of course!), but oh God, he's handsome, and this black polo shirt and white pants... Colin Firth? I better stop here, or else... Lucky, Lucky Livia.. :)
Well, and now to the point. I'm starting to work on a wedding collection that appeared in my mind while watching. They will be all knit/crochet accessories, and I even have ideas for knit/crochet wedding gowns. What do you think? Crazy me? :)

Chinese New Year
It seems, everyone is thrilled about Chinese New Year. Vegas is traditionally bright and politically correct (gamblers gamers are always welcome!).
MGM's Lion is shining...
Bellagio's Conservatory is amazingly beautiful...
And I thought I had to offer my customers something to celebrate Chinese New Year. Something really good to make The Tiger smile. Here are my ideas:
* Safari Scarf and Beanie Hat Set:
* Ribbed Striped Beanie:
* Jockey Hat:
* China is impossible without good tea. This orange cup cozy will make the tea ceremony even better. :)
What do you think?

Sunshine to Everyone!
I just talked to my parents in Europe, it's -5 F over there. So cold, so slippery, grey and gloomy. Real winter... And it's very sad to see the "Snowmageddon" in Mid-Atlantics!
As for us, Vegas is shining as usual. Short morning shower is over, and the day is stunning. I'm sending our warmth and sunshine to everyone who needs them. Grab and enjoy! :)

February Twilight
I'm one of those (many) people who live in Las Vegas, but don't really like "Vegassy" Vegas. Madness of The Strip is too much for me, but all the rest is incredible! Mountains around the city, desert lakes, unbelievable sunsets, unique landscape...
This Treasury was inspired by the shades of Vegas twilights in February - some amazing mix of purple, pink, blue, and green.

Size Matters? :)
Being 5'2", I've always loved everything big. Big cars (oh, these huge American trucks, how much I want to try and drive one of them!), big men (it's so convenient to hide under my hubby's shoulder!), big dogs... Once I had an amazing Great Dane. He was the smartest and handsomest dog in the world, for sure...
And this is what I saw a couple of days ago in the park. They're irresistible, aren't they? :)

2010 Winter Olympics Accessory
Winter Olympics are approaching, and several days ago I received a wonderful custom order for an evid sports fan. :)
This cup cozy had to represent team colors (blue/yellow) and be as functional as possible. I used a wonderful wool blend yarn and a matching star button. The guy was really happy, feedback was fantastic.
If you know someone who would also like this gift idea, here is the link:
